Hi everyone, this is my first post to the list.

I've been working on a site where I have a horizontal row of thumbnails
for navigation, and they seem to somehow expand (or something) in
Firefox. When this happens some of them go vertical, but not usually
all...it seems somewhat random how many kick down and when it happens.

the link to the page is here:

css is here:

It actually can happen on *all* the pages, but I just picked one.

This problem is not repeatable in a consistent manner, so it's very
difficult to nail down.

Complicating matters, I am using pMachine for the backend.

Also, I am not exactly a guru at CSS. I've been wrestling with the code
so long, it's hard for me to know sometimes what I have done. I fear the
code has gotten away from me. But what to do?

The code does not validate, as some of my *hacks* seem to trip it up.
However the hacks appear to be necessary to ensure the same layout (or
close to it) in IE Windows.

I have made a page with screenshots of what I see in Firefox Mac (1.5.0.5).

I really hope someone is able to pinpoint the problem here. Thanks for
your help.

-John
