Hmm... I don't think that is the case. I did another site recently  
with a styled form (using label for="foo" in the same way) and it  
looks fine on Safari, FF and IE: here it is:

That's why I was so surprised that this site looks so odd in Safari.

Aargh - you know what? My new site looks fine in Safari now! Well  
that really has confused me. Perhaps some instability in Safari?  
Style sheet caching?
