Peter politely typed:

Peter, that worked. Thank you VERY much for catching that one.

The results were interesting. The only part that the CSS validator
didn't like was the two old hacks. (I may be the third one...)
It showed parse errors here;

213 Parse Error - : "\"}\""; voice-family:inherit; margin-left:
2em;width:85%; height: auto; border-style: none; } *html>body
#content2 p
218 Parse Error - *html #content2 p {width:58%;margin-left:5%;margin-
right:-2em; w\idth:58%;margin-left:8%;}

Well, now I'm stumped. I know that much of the time the hacks don't
go through politely in the CSS validators.
I'm still stuck with the original problem...how to get that column to
scoot over a couple of ems or so...

Any suggestions?

TIA!
