And please check your site on at least the PC AND the Mac. Macs have about 8% market share right now, and that is expected to increase in the next year. Mac users will likely spend your clients' money, too, so you don't want to knock them out of the equation.
I test on IE6, IE7, and Firefox on the PC, and Firefox and Safari on the Mac (I run Parallels and WinXP on my Mac). Don't worry so much about Netscape anymore, since AOL stopped distributing it or supporting it on February 1. Check your stats, though, to find out what browsers your users are using. My stats show that fewer than one- half of 1% of my users are using Opera, so if a site breaks there, I won't spend a whole lot of time fixing it. Validating just *helps* ensure that a site will not break on a particular browser. It's not a guarantee.
