selector {
        white-space:-moz-pre-wrap;
        white-space:-webkit-pre-wrap;
        white-space:-o-pre-wrap;
        white-space:pre-wrap;
}
should cover most browsers.


For IE, iirc, you need to add ' word-break:break-all'.
