What you have now isn't working as intended in IE6 and older.

Besides: it works in IE, and everywhere else, regardless of mode, and
can take font resizing in all browsers - which yours can't as it stands.

Only a question of creating new images and adjusting styles for
:hover/this for alignment. No need to change CSS if you change
order/number of tabs in the source-code.
