Hi, has anyone else experienced seeing colors somewhat differently in Photoshop vs. a web browser? Everything looks significantly darker in Photoshop. It certainly adds an unnecessary obstacle to the design process! Any tips on why this might be happening, and how to alleviate it? (I'm trying to match the background of an image--it's an image of type--to a hexadecimal background color.) Thanks! Lalena P.S. Hello, Ron Zisman! ______________________________________________________________________ It's because of color profiling. If you have a browser that obeys color profiles, then it'll match, but most browsers don't have that support. so you need to save your photoshop image without a color profile. Another way around this would be to save the text with a transparent background and just let the background color on the page bleed through. ---Tim ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [cs...@lists.css-discuss.org] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ List policies -- http://css-discuss.org/policies.html Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
