I do not doubt about that (readings about font-sizing) Jeff, but when
you say: "I was just pointing out an idea that in theory I thought it
would be possible to get the same font sizing" - I believe you are not
yet seeing the point (that I believe have seen).
Please note, immo, *even if you find it*, you will still not been able
to *make it seen equal* for everyone. And, that is, the ultimate goal
I can grasp when we want a "design to look *identical* cross browser".

As you may know by the level of my doubts on the list, I cannot
discuss the technical details of your possibility, but I can tell
then, the quest you are trying to archive, seems to be lost from the
base, by the fact that we (as far as I can tell) just don't see things
equally, hence, wanting to make something look exactly the same, is "a
mon avis", a dead project, even for more particularity subjects as
equal size fonts for everyone.

I confine myself to my newbie cage, and will say no more.
