WebKit (I'm not sure about IE) doesn't really set / shift the focus on
/ to an element (link) when the user clicks on it. When the user access
the link from the keyboard, then the focus _is_ set.

Also, I'd use :active on top of :focus as I think :focus does not work in IE
6.

:active is treated as :focus in IE7 and earlier versions. IE7- does not have :active state.

This test shows the problem that WebKit has with :focus when selecting a link with the mouse. Tabbing works.

The reverse is true with :active. The test shows that WebKit does not show :active when tabbing. Selecting a link with the mouse works.
