That are really two way of perceiving it. You are seeing a concave curve (curving in or hollowed inward) [1]. Much like seeing the inside surface of a cutaway sphere. What I see is a convex curve (curving out or bulging outward) [1]. It is what this test from 2008 suggested (don't allow the dark background to drop)
