In browsers that support it you can use display:table/table-row/
table-cell
Or you can give a width to the links you're floating.
For example:
#navcontainer ul li a {
background-color:#532F64;
border-right:1px solid #FFFFFF;
color:white;
float:left;
padding:0.2em 0; /* zero out left/right margins */
text-align:center; /* add this */
text-decoration:none;
width:101px; /* add this */
}
Then remove the border on the last link
