I didn't know you're talking about *that* image, I thought you're talking
about the Jacobi one. The one which shows with a slight offset depending on
browsers.
The other one shows at the top of the sidebar in IE, correct?
That difference is due to the fact that in IE you're using position:absolute
instead of position:relative (which you use in other browsers).
In any case, you should not use "position" for almost everything on your
page. It adds a lot of complexity without solving any problem.
