I have a minimum font-size set to 12px in all browsers, in Opera 11.10, Gecko
1.9.2 and Safari 5 / WebKit / Chrome, the text in the lower box is half that
size.

Interesting. Gets scaled up by the 'minimum font size: 14px' I use, with result as expected. Another trap for unsuspecting designers as browser extensions and good old end-user stylesheets catch up with misuse.

Dunno about IE 9.

Nothing yet, AFAICT :-)
IE's "Ignore font size" isn't the same as "minimum font size" though, so it will be interesting to see how IE will handle "transform".
