I see you used this on the links in your sig and I hate to burst your bubble
but I am seeing you have the same issue on my Moto Backflip (can't check the
HTC Aria with the newer version of Android) no custom font is being
rendered. 
I am inclined to believe that this may be an issue with versions of Android
before 2.2, just can't believe that considering everything Android is
capable of that they dropped the ball on this. Even on Google's Font page I
get system fonts only.
Looks like I will need to pass this buck to Cufon and sniff out Android
phones. Everybody else gets CSS @font-face.
