I have an older Powerbook which runs Panther (10.3) and which I might need to write HTML and CSS with. My question is, how useful for this purpose is this machine? Given the OS's age, and browsers that it can run, my concern is getting accurate proofing results.
While it will accept an install of Tiger (10.4), this computer runs dog-slow on Tiger. The machine is a PPC powerbook, so nothing which requires an Intel processor will work, though I do notice that many browsers still support 10.3, so that part is encouraging. thanks for any thoughts on the matter.
