Hello!

I've been handed a problem with CSS, and was reading over

     http://css-discuss.incutio.com/wiki/Overlapping_And_ZIndex

in the hope of learning enough to solve it. The wiki article depends on
graphics linked to (not embedded) from that page, presumably showing
examples of how layering works. Unfortunately, all of the image links return
a 403, and the article is extremely difficult to follow without seeing the
effects of the changes being discussed.

I visited briefly to the top of the linked-to domain (michael4css.info) but
there's no viewable page there, just the raw directory structure (that seems
to have not been modified in years, so the site may no longer be maintained).

The talk/discussion page for "Overlapping_And_ZIndex" doesn't exist, so if
this has been brought up before, there's no record of it on the wiki itself.

Is there somebody with both (a) write access to the wiki, and (b) some idea
of where the images might be located these days, who would be willing to fix
the broken links?

back to staring at firebug,

Maybe a edit of that whole section of the wiki will help. The images can be accessed by the directory.

A lot of the confusion originally was due to how IE6 and IE7 incorrectly implemented z-index.

These test may also help.
