tracing is one option, though involves a lot of work.
I'd try the free trial of Alien Skins Blow Up 3 software http://www.alienskin.com/blowup/
. We invested in version 2 last summer just for one job which involved
blowing up an original iPhone image to print quality. We also did some
unsharp mask and color work after the blow up, but all in all it was
worth the money.
