JIRA management 3. prepare announce email 4. create people.a.o RC dir area - MD5s - SHA1 - ASC - CHANGES log and make sure KEYS file is present on dist.a.o 5. call for VOTE - start on ctakes-dev with PPMC - if 3 mentor (IPMC) +1s then simply forward VOTE to general@ and wait another 72 hours and close VOTE - if not 3 mentor (IPMC) +1s, go to general@ and try to get the additional needed IPMC VOTEs - be prepared to do more than 1 RC the first time.
