I don't have projects that depend on cTAKES in any more meaningful of a way than what can be tested by comparing the xcas generated by this release to the xcas output of a previous release. xcas_comparison.Compare was written for this, although first you'll need to do a search/replace within one set of the xcas files for the type system changes.
Hopefully someone among our user base will reply to your email with a suggestion. Repeat of testing of components you are familiar with is the biggest way I see for now. There are multiple aggregates to be tested across all the components. ________________________________________ From: [email protected] [[email protected]] on behalf of Steven Bethard [[email protected]] Sent: Friday, November 30, 2012 5:30 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: cTAKES 3.0.0-incubating RC3 is ready for review On Nov 27, 2012, at 1:00 AM, "Chen, Pei" <[email protected]> wrote: > Release cTAKES 3.0.0-incubating RC3 is ready for review. I mentioned before that the ideal review, to me, would be to take this release, use it in some project that depends on cTAKES, and run that project's tests to make sure everything works. But I don't actually have any projects of my own that depend on cTAKES. Are there other ways I could usefully review this RC? Steve
