I don't have something that uses cTAKES and exercises enough of it to be
helpful. Hopefully someone from our user base will reply.

What I was envisioning is that each person who has worked on some component,
rerun any tests on those component(s) and also do some artistic testing,
eyeballing a few results and looking for oddities.

xcas_comparison.Compare was written for comparing 2 sets of xcas. So for
components that are not new, you could compare the output of a previous release
with the output of this RC. It doesn't handle/know about the changes to the
type system package names, so you'd have to do global find/replace first.

So what do people recommend for "reviewing" such a release? I mentioned before
that the ideal review, to me, would be to take this release, use it in some
project that depends on cTAKES, and run that project's tests to make sure
everything works. But I don't actually have any projects of my own that depend
on cTAKES.

Are there other ways I could usefully review this RC?

Steve
