Currently these pages are just the same, minus pictures, as cTAKES 2.5. Nothing
has been reworked for the 3.1 changes yet. And, especially for the User Guide,
we'll want to retake the pictures after text gets reworked.

Looks like you're talking about the User Guide page. Go ahead and do what you
said. I was thinking of merging what was written about 3.1 for developers into
the Developer Guide.

BTW I did do some find-and-replace of "2.5" to "3.1" so some of it might be
close to right. But with the introduction of Maven things are different for
developers.

Thanks
Troy

Troy,

First let me say thank you for throwing together the first pass on confluence.

I just started trying to use cTakes all over again (after a 6 month hiatus)
yesterday, so I think that I might be in a good position to throw in some of
the workflow changes for new users, for instance the different 3.1 paths to xml
files.

So right now I'm editing pageId=30742620 . Let me know if you are doing the
same this hour so that we don't overwrite each other (my changes can wait).

Thanks,
Sean

Subject: start of the doc

As you know I started with the markdown syntax and moved to Confluence. It was
not possible to migrate our previous pages (from NIH Confluence) but it was not
too hard to get the pages one by one moved in.
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/CTAKES

I've since gone through the pages. Mostly a first cut for 3.1. Links should
work and stuff, there's a number of pages that refer to help that does not
exist. One component only points to the readme when it should be in with all
the other component doc. Please take a look. After any comments I'll go back to
the cTAKES community site and point all the right places to here. Note that
pretty much every page in the Confluence doc also points back to the community
pages.

Thanks
