Jean-François Burnol submitted an update to the etoc
package. Summary description: easily customizable TOCs License type: lppl Announcement text: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.04 The main new feature is support for \label and \ref: I. \tableofcontents \label{toc:A} or \tableofcontents* \label{toc:A} creates a label toc:A as usual (the starred form gives a `local' table of contents). II. Elsewhere in the document, \tableofcontents \ref{toc:A} will re-display the contents of the TOC with label toc:A (the \ref is detected and swallowed by \tableofcontents). III. One can also do \tableofcontents \label{toc:B} \ref{toc:A} Then \ref{toc:B} may be used elsewhere in the document to refer to this toc:B location (it just prints the number of the concerned TOC, but is of course an hyperlink if package hyperref has been loaded). The two TOCs with labels toc:A and toc:B will have the same contents but their layouts and titles are decided locally and may differ completely from one another. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/etoc . More information is at http://www.ctan.org/pkg/etoc (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org .
