Hi JJ, CS Holdings offers Official Sun Microsystems Java courses, as well as TorqueIT, and Byte technology group (I think). Dr. Heinz from javaspecialists.co.za, also offers Java courses.
Java courses are quite pricey (+/- R10000 per person, per 5 day course). Another alternative is online learning (not sure how much this costs). To find out more about the courses and career paths within Java, check out the sun website: http://za.sun.com/training/ Regards, Enrico -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jean-Jay Vester Sent: 26 May 2005 09:25 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [CTJUG Forum] Re: Java Certification Survey Hey chaps I am new here, with regard to the Java certification courses, how and where? Also how much does this cost and what do I stand to benefit from it. The core of my Java development for the company I work for is web-development (Servlets, Jsp, Tomcat etc) What courses are available to advance ones technology with special emphasis on the web component of Java?
