Enrico, I am doing it the hard way ;) not really, I used the Osborne Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for J2EE Study guide, UML Distilled Second Edition, Mastering Enterprise JavaBeans and Design Patterns, by Erich Gamma, et al, as recommended by some of the guys on the certification forum.
I also studied the J2EE patterns, site at Sun this comes in really handy and is a big part of the exams. One other thing to do is write some code it gives some background to the theory and you get to really understand the technology. Do make sure you have some background in other technologies as well, as they do cover more than just J2EE. If you are someone that can do a training course then it would be good, but you must do more than just a course to pass this exam, as they expect you have experience in the technologies.
