Agreed! NB 5.0 is pretty good, however look to the future - One day all IDE's will be Eclipse based ;-)
Even Borland's next version of JBuilder is apparantly going to be based on Eclipse - there is so much support for Eclipse based plug-ins that you can do virtually anything is you find the right plug-in AND support will only continue to get stronger. Also Sun is spending money advertising NetBeans when it is free :-S. Some of the features in NetBeans (profilers etc) are going to be in some sort of format for Java 6 as well, so I don't really have much confidence that NB will be around in a couple of years.

Netbeans (use the 5.0b2 release) is very slick.  I tried Eclipse but it
sucked so bad that I went back to NB.
