Hi Gary,
The CT-SPIN has open membership. Subscribing to our mailing list and
showing up is all it takes - though we may try and coerce you into
presenting!
I gather from Heinz's email that we'll have to wait a while for his
slides to become releasable, but our second speaker's (Nico de Wet)
slides, in addition to all those of previous meetings, are available
here (or will be shortly):
http://www.spin.org.za/meetings.html
To join the mailing list, send the usual
empty email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I'm looking forward to seeing you at the SPIN!
Kind regards,
Ben

Hi Gary,
it would be great to have a new representative
of UCT CS. That Irish PhD student I think was part of initiating SPIN,
but he has gone back to Ireland now.
I might present my talk at the CTJUG as well -
depends if there is sufficient interest? The slides will become
available after March, once I've presented the talk at TheServerSide
Java Symposium.
By the way, there is another talk that I will be
presenting, called "Java Specialists in Action". I don't mind
presenting both of the talks at CTJUG in the next few weeks, just not
on the same day.
Kind regards from
Heinz

Ben
I recently got this
notification for the SPIN meeting on Wednesday this week. Unfortunately
I was unable to attend, but was very interested in the topics discussed
and am interested in joining your group.
So I was wondering if you had any
documentation from the talks on Wednesday (handouts, slides, etc.) and
if there is any cost to joining the SPIN initiative.
Thanking you.
Gary Stewart
