Going to give it a bash now, one other thing that I did not like about 
Netbeans is the _protected_ code areas, where you are not allowed to edit via 
the text editor. Is this still the case?

What do you guys use for data binding? Your own framework? I am really 
interested in a read-only binding model, my forms do not need to be 
intelligent, but there are going to be 100s of them and it should be easy to 
maintain. That is why I thought jgoodies was impressive the first time I 
looked at it.
