Hi there I am trying to retrieve the IP of a server but InetAddress.getLocalHost().getHostAddress() returns 127.0.0.1 instead of the real IP. I am running Fedora Core 4 with JDK1.4.2.
I know this is an issue on linux but is there workaround for this, because I dont want to edit the etc/hosts file.
