I guess I will just have to call my EJBs the old way :-(. But that's fine, I'm still more than happy with how streamlined everything is compared to EJB2.1. Just wish I hadn't spent half a day on this now.

I have sent the relevant jar offlist. Don't know if it will work as a
simple drop-in but you can try replacing
server/<name>/deploy/ejb3.deployer/jboss-ejbx.jar with this one.

Alternatively you can arrange to collect a copy of JBoss from me if
your bandwidth can't handle it.
