The post was dated end of June, I think around the 20th. I will do some more experimenting when I have more time... unfortunately this project is due tomorrow ;-). In the mean time, it's one line of code as opposed to three - it'd be really cool to have it working, but not necessary.

What was the date of that post? I have it working, promise...

An alternative is to use the more generic @Resource annotation where
you pass through the JNDI name as a parameter.
