Hi Brian,

Yes - I have for about a year and a half now, but definitely not as much as
I would like to. I really got to like it's "unusual" (to me) aspects like
duck-typing, closures, meta-programming and the ability to do programattic
feats at run-time, mixins, the ability to "re-open" core classes like
String, method-missing etc. etc. I work mainly in Java, but I need to make
some time to continue with and consolidate my knowledge of Ruby.

BTW - I also came to ruby through Rails, and have completed three
intranet/web based apps using it. I think RoR is definitely a good
advertisement for Ruby, especially in terms of how well it is suited for
building DSLs, but the real coolness (for me) lies in the language itself.
