Hello:

has anybody had any experience with Java native compilation?

i'm interested to know which compiler would be best under the
following constraints:

1 a single compiler which can produce binaries for Windows and Linux;

2 a compiler which need not provide well developed support for Swing
(since i'm interested in produced a command-line based computation
engine);

3 a compiler which produces native code which is hard to decompile,
(since i want protection for proprietary algorthms) and performs at
least as well as byte-compiled code (since it looks like being a
computationally demanding application); and

4 a compiler which is either free or relatively cheap to licence
(since i have a limited budget :-)

any advice, suggestions, insights would be appreciated.
