Our city has developed pretty tight policies about employees using city property for personal use, so we don't allow staff to take it.  Also, we don't allow the one we have to be checked out, although I'd let the Friends of the Library or the local genealogical society to use for one of their events if they needed.  Most city departments have bought their own digital cameras, so loaning to them has not come up--but I would if one of them needed it.

Do any of you have digital cameras and if so, do you allow them to be checked out by anyone at all, library personnel for personal use, other city employees, patrons, community groups, etc.?
