TexShare members: The Texas State Library and Archives Commission, in partnership with the Courier Service Working Group (http://www.texshare.edu/programs/courier/courierworking/courier2001.html), is planning for next year. The budget for TExpress courier service will allow us to add 15 new subsidized stops in the upcoming year. (There is no limit to the number of unsubsidized stops.) We would like to know what libraries are planning to join the TExpress service this coming year. We estimate that the cost to the library or institution for FY02 subsidized services will be $1080 for most sites. (The unsubsidized rate would be $2700 for most locations; TSLAC pays a 60% subsidy for qualified stops.) Please note that these are cost estimates. We will send an announcement to the membership when prices are firm.
