NEW ipage(sm) FEATURES & FUNCTIONS

Ingram announces a new release of ipage, effective Monday, July 2, 2001.

PLEASE SHARE THESE ENHANCEMENTS WITH YOUR ipage USERS.

NEW FEATURES

I. Introducing OneSource--Now You Can Browse, Search, & Order Music Online
>From Ingram!

* All Ingram Library Services ipage customers are now enabled to see music
products as an option in Simple Search, Browse by
Category, and Browse by Theme. Ingram's partnership with Valley Media brings
you more than 200,000 titles on CD and cassette that
can be ordered just like book products on ipage.
* You can either search for music alone or you can choose to do a
multi-product search of books and music together. For example,
searching for All Products where Beatles are designated as contributor, you
find search results of both books and music.
* Ordering music products is easy. You can add music to your usual selection
lists or order it immediately through the Quick Order
selecting function. On any product detail page for music, scroll down to the
Quick Order section and follow the steps to send the
order to Ingram. You will receive an email confirmation and the music order
will ship immediately from our OneSource partner.
* Music and book functions act the same, including checking order status,
tracking orders, viewing award winners and bestsellers,
browsing product detail pages, and account management.
* For detailed, step-by-step directions on ordering music through the
OneSource program by Ingram, log onto ipage and go to Site
Help.

II. Set the Number of Results Returned with Any Search

* Now users can set the number of results they see returned after any search
of ipage, including searches of products, open items,
open purchase orders, backordered items, recently shipped orders, and ipage
order status.
* To set the number of results, go to ipage Administration and click Edit
Profile. Select up to 200 results under the Search Options
section and click Update.

III. Elimination of the 10-item Order Minimum

In conjunction with Ingram Library Service's decision to eliminate the
10-item order minimum, those who order on ipage will no
longer receive a message saying they need 10 items to place orders and
asking the users to add more items.

IV. "Publishers Weekly," "Criticas," "Library Journal," & "School Library
Journal" Reviews Now Appear for 24 Months on Product
Detail Pages

Since many librarians want to see what reviews say about books both new and
recently released, we've worked with Cahners to enable
ipage to display their reviews for 24 months after the review has been
published. You'll find the reviews on the product detail
pages. This functionality comes with Tier 2 subscriptions to ipage.

V. Online Subscription Form for New ipage Users

* We've added our ipage subscription forms to the login section of ipage.
New subscribers can review the ipage agreement, fill out
the subscription form, and submit it electronically online. After it's been
approved, you'll receive an email with further
instructions on how to use ipage.
* For an overview of ipage, its features, and how to use different
functions, check out the ipage tour from the login section.

VI. Create Returns Online Through ipage

* Users can now report shortages online and create return packing slips for
wrong or defective product.
* Using ipage, you can build hassle free returns for wrong or defective
product and send electronic shortage reports to Ingram
Library Services. Note: You cannot create returns online for video.
* To access the Create Returns functions, click Account Management and
choose Create Returns.
* For detailed, step-by-step directions on creating returns, log into ipage
and go to Site Help.

For further information on these new ipage functions and features, view the
announcement on the right-hand side of ipage's home
page. You can also go to Site Help (part of the FAQ section) for complete,
detailed how-to directions.

We're pleased to bring you these ipage enhancements and make your ipage
experience better. Please share these changes with your
ipage users.
