I would hope that the library posted something letting people know that they
will be on camera in these areas. I don't think most people will be
bothered by it, but they do have a right to know.
What I'm wondering is: What is the value of having these areas viewable in
live action? Checking to see if the circ or ref line is short before you
come to the library is pretty useless--afterall, in the time it takes to get
there, the line could change. So why put it on the web? I'd much rather
use the webcam to provide a live action on-line referece session.
