Thanks, Amanda at CTLS Staff from the National Center for Educational Statistics (NCES) are interested in gathering information about the role of libraries in supporting education. NCES has recently established an agreement with the Education Statistics Services Institute (ESSI) to begin gathering information in this area, focusing initially on the role of public libraries in support of home schooling and charter schools. Do you offer any special programs for homeschoolers or charter schools at your public library? If so, would you please send a description to me? Any information you can provide about what public libraries in your area are doing to support home schooling and charter schools would be enormously helpful. Thank you so much.
