Subject: Community Network Conference

Please forward this invitation to any appropriate person or forum...

The TeleCommunity Resource Center <http://www.tcrc.net/> and the Association
for Community Networking <http://www.afcn.org/> present the Fourth National
Community Network Conference <http://www.tcrc.net/conference> Hilton Airport
Hotel, Austin, Texas December 2 - 4, 2001

Local, State and National leaders in community networks and technology will
be gathering in Austin for the fourth year to share information and help
develop public interest technology programs. You are invited to join the
world's leading CN conference, sharing professional expertise, experienced
leadership, and valuable opportunities. We will discuss new technologies,
projects, services, constraints, funding, support and all the other
possibilities and realities of community networks and technology centers.
Discussion will occasionally be supplemented by zeal, knowledge, barbecue,
and beverages.

There will be showcase presentations of the latest telecommunications
technology and of the leading community network/technology projects across
the US and abroad. And since Austin is (usually) warm in early December,
maybe we'll have several "snowbirds of a feather" parallel sessions for
special interest topics.

Conference Programs - Monday and Tuesday, December 3-4
Community Network Showcases - Sunday afternoon, December 2
Austin's "Cybercity Social" Celebration - Saturday evening, December 1
