Dear System member libraries: This is a reminder that November 30, 2001 is the absolute deadline for you to establish your library's status regarding non-resident fees and the TexShare card program for the Loan Star Libraries program for FY2002. This means that we must have any forms you need to file received in our office by that date, correctly filled out, and with the correct signatures.
We have about 80 libraries from whom we have not received any forms yet (you have been contacted), about 80 libraries we've notified have some problem with their forms and we have not yet gotten corrected versions, plus a number (I'm still counting) whose files are incomplete. This will be those libraries that have already turned in a Status form (the one with the check boxes on it) and said they intended to either drop non-resident fees and/or join the card program by November 30. I'm checking to make sure you followed through and sent those forms. Please mail your forms asap and please let me or your system know if you have any questions. Any forms not received by November 30 cannot be counted and we will make funding allocations accordingly.
