The Texas Library Association recognizes people who have distinguished themselves in the library profession. As a member of the TLA Awards Committee, I especially urge you to look at the major association awards at http://www.txla.org/html/awards/tlawards.html. These include Librarian of the Year, Distinguished Service, Outstanding Services to Libraries, Library Project of the Year, and Benefactor Award. All nominations for TLA Awards must be postmarked by January 6, 2002.
