On Wednesday, July 17 at 5:30, Cyberlifeguard Shelby Counts and former Wired
for Youth librarian Adam Brodkin, will host a program on buying a new
computer for kids and families at Windsor Park Branch Library.  The program
includes a drawing for a free MP3 Player.  Contact the branch library at
928-0333.

On Thursday, July 18 at 2:00 p.m. Cyberlifeguard Beth Heller and WFY
librarian Pat Chow will host a program on Art Cars at University Hills
Branch.  Art cars are those lavishly decorated cars you sometimes see
driving around town and wonder "Why would someone do that to their car?"
Kids of all ages will be able to ask that question of several art car owners
who will be bringing their cars to show off.  Kids will also be able to make
their own mini-art car and enjoy refreshments.  For information contact Pat

On Tuesday, July 23 at 3:00 p.m. Michele Gorman, WFY librarian at Carver
Branch,  will host an Anime Extravaganza featuring anime (Japanese
animation) movies and Japanese snacks for kids ages 8-18.  New manga
(Japanese animated books) will be given to lucky participants as door
prizes.  For more information on this program, contact Michele Gorman at
477-8679.
