TLA Annual Assembly is July 9 through 12 at the Hyatt Regency in Austin. There are several task force meetings and presentations of particular interest to public libraries: Public Library Standards Task Force - Wednesday 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm Resource Sharing Task Force - Thursday 10:00 am - Noon Legislative Debrief - Thursday 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm Public Library Study Task Force - Friday 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm Hot Issues Q & A on Public Library Standards Task Force, Public Library Study Task Force, and Resource Sharing Task Force - Friday 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm The task forces will be meeting for the first time to plan their work in the coming year. All meetings are open and you do not have to be registered to attend these meetings.
