Library Journal publishes an issue each year spotlighting libraries with new or remodeled buildings. This year, they are also asking for information on libraries that have had referenda (passing or failing) for buildings or for operating funds. If any of you have buildings that were completed in the time frame of July 1, 2002 to June 30, 2003, or who have had referenda in the time frame of December 1, 2002 to November 30, 2003 (I know, we're not there yet), please let me know. I can send you the forms so that you can fill them out & send them in to LJ. This is your big chance for nationwide publicity for your libraries! For those of you with new or remodeled buildings, pictures can also be submitted. Deadline for the architectural information is October 6, 2003.
