Beth, I will fax the the job desriptions to you after this email. There are no other agencies under the same organization. Pages are payed minimum wage. Library Associates pay ranges from $7.50 - $10.00. The other positions do not have have minimum or maximum range. Thanks for the easy way to respond! I know this is a lot of information for you all to gather, but the analyzed data that will be creditable to personnel people and to elected officials and will be a very useful tool to discuss levels of library pay. Here is a list of the information needed: A copy of the current job description for EVERY library position. A copy of a job description for a comparable position in your larger organization. The best comps for librarians seems to be personnel in the parks and recreation area or in planning. . The minimum and maximum pay for each position -- in the library and for the comparable position. Please email, fax or mail me this information as soon as possible. It has been five weeks since the original request letter was mailed and to date only 9 of the 74 CTLS libraries have responded.
