Our staff just found out that a patron who checked out our magazines has clipped out pages and articles from each of the magazine. We are talking about dozens of magazines and he did it surgically without us realized it until another patron reported to us that pages were missing. My question to other libraries is that has anyone try to ban a patron from coming to the library from a similar situation. We think if we let him use our library, he might hide somewhere and cut out pages without us knowing it. I would appreciate any input. Thanks.
