FREE Workshop via teleconference on January 23rd -- A Technology Toolkit:
Survival Basics for Everyone

Although this presentation is geared toward paraprofessional library staff,
anyone who needs help with technology basics should attend this
teleconference!

Most of the DuPage teleconferences are very well received by those who
attend -- and we feel that attendance at the teleconferences would be even
higher if only Texas library staff knew what they were missing. The last
DuPage teleconference on "Good Manager and Good Employee Skills" was a big
success. Some of the comments from the program evaluations were:
"Very appropriate for our institution. I wish more staff had attended."
"Practical and entertaining."
"Lively presentation. Good examples."
"Very appropriate and timely information for a library, loved the
presenter."
"Very relevant and timely. Gave me a new perspective on problems I have been
having."

As part of the 2003-04 season of the College of DuPage teleconferences, the
Texas State Library reminds Texas library staff of the opportunity to
participate in "A Technology Toolkit: Survival Basics for Everyone". This
program will be broadcast as part of the College of DuPage's 2003-04
"Soaring to Excellence" series from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Central time on
Friday, January 23rd, 2004. All Texas library staff are invited to view this
program at participating host sites in Texas. More details follow.
