With this e-mail, EBSCO is happy to announce the addition of the "Our
States" reference book series from Great Neck Publishing to both MAS Ultra:
School Edition, and Middle Search Plus. Additionally, this will soon appear
in MasterFILE Premier. This new collection is made up of 54 titles on each
of the states, commonwealths and territories in the United States. This
comprehensive series has carefully-written, in-depth articles covering each
state's history, averaging 10 pages in length, and includes information on
the economy, geography, natural resources, wildlife, state flags and
landmarks.

Of special and current interest are the 2-3 page biographies on each state's
Governors, Senators and Representatives, as well as other leaders such as
Rudolph Giuliani, Noam Chomsky, Ralph Nader, Bill Clinton, and Condoleeza
Rice. Geographical coverage includes information on topics such as the Grand
Canyon, the Mexican border, Ellis Island, Yellowstone National Park, Pearl
Harbor and the World Trade Center.

44 biographies are part of the title "Our States: U.S. Government & Civic
Leaders" and there are 47 articles on "Our States: Geographic Treasures".
When searching in EBSCOhost, records from this series will appear as part of
a result list, and are labeled as document type "reference book". In
addition to keyword and other search modes, this information can be
specifically located using the "publication" search mode. All records in
Our States contain Lexile Reading Levels, and information is updated
quarterly.

We are happy to bring this state-specific information to appropriate
EBSCOhost databases in response to customer suggestions. Please continue to
provide feedback as to how we may further improve our databases, and as
always, we will work to accommodate.

Kind regards,
