Good morning. In Brenham, we don’t let anyone check out materials who can’t give us a permanent address. However, internet access is available to them, and so are any circulating paperbacks or book sale books. Are other libraries’ policies pretty similar?

Subject: Circulation policy question

Hello all,

In your circulation policies and practices, do any member libraries permit residents of transient facilities, including but not necessarily limited to homeless shelters, to check out library materials?  If so, is your policy the same as for other patrons, or have you modified it in any way?

Thanks.
