CTLS is attempting to arrange a 6 month trial subscription to one of the 4 Biblionix services. Each CTLS member library will be able to choose one service to try out. We hope the trial will begin in August. First we have to convince the City of Austin purchasing department that the software is safe and reliable and that the service is sufficiently unique that it should be purchased without getting bids, and to do that we are having to gather some information from several sources. Biblionix doesn't capture how many people used the computer but it does report hours of usage for individual workstations each day or each week or by whatever criteria you select.
