The forums focus on gathering and communicating information and ideas that help older Texans age well and communities prepare for an aging population. The forums will: . bring together the general public, local officials, and service providers to discuss the unique issues faced by rural older Texans; . identify the needs and concerns of older Texans in rural communities; and . help individuals and families prepare for retirement and aging by identifying local services, resources, and opportunities.
